Hello, AMS team:
I hope that everyone has enjoyed a fantastic start to the spring semester! This coming Thursday (February 2, 2012), the first AMS meeting of the new semester is scheduled for 7:00 PM in Davis Hall 121. COD students Matt Piechota and Sam Augustyn will be presenting a talk on the Ground Hog Day blizzard from one year ago. If you're passionate about winter weather, you won't want to miss this. In fact, even if you're not a winter weather fan, you won't want to miss this since that storm had everything! Moreover, we will be sharing several announcements which will provide ways for you to become more involved in meteorology.
See you on Thursday!
